Our early childhood music classes are non-performance based. We believe that young children learn best through play, and that the most important role models for young children are the adults who love them the most! We offer weekly forty five minute in-person classes.
All of our Music Together® and Rhythm Kids® teachers have collegiate degrees in Music and/or Education, in addition to having completed the Music Together Intensive Teacher Training. We are passionate about sharing the joy of music with you and your little ones!

Our individual classes truly become a musical community. Many of our families continue through the entire three year Music Together sequence and then move onto Rhythm Kids®, creating long-standing social and musical friendships with one another.

In addition to the Music Together program, Alley Bell Music is also pleased to offer these musical opportunities for our growing learners:
Private Voice Instruction: Students ages 8 and up are invited to pursue private voice instruction with Sarah Richàrd or Elizabeth Galafa Ylaya. Students learn a variety of classical, folk and musical theater repertoire, with the focus being on creating a healthy and sustainable singing voice, and learning audition and performance skills. Lessons are given in weekly 30 minute increments. To inquire about lesson availability, please contact us at [email protected].
Private Piano Instruction: Mary Rose Lieberman, Sarah Giordano and Jaemee Kim all maintain their private piano studios at Alley Bell Music. All three teachers are known for their playful approach to learning, and enjoy working with students of all ages. Lessons are available to ages 5 and up. To inquire about lesson availability, please email [email protected].
Group Piano Instruction:
We offer a year long, 27 session group piano curriculum for ages 4-8, using the Safari Friends, and Piano Safari Level 1 curriculums. Registration for these classes requires a full year commitment, and is done via our class registration page at Alleybellmusic.com
Children ages 4-5 (as of September 2026) and their grown-up are invited to play sing and move with us as we learn all about the geography of the piano keyboard! Fall semester will include nine class sessions, each 45 minutes long: 9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25, 11/1 and 11/8. The curriculum book "Piano Safari and Friends" is included with your tuition. This class is a pre-reading class, meaning students are not required to learn the music by reading it from a score. Families are required to have a keyboard at home in order to reinforce concepts from class at home. Grown-up participation required, maximum class size of six. These classes are a part of a fall/winter/spring sequential series.
Children ages 6-8 (as of September 2026) are invited to join us for this optional drop off group piano class (grown-up is invited and encouraged to come too). During the fall term, students will lay the foundational skills for music literacy at the piano: navigating keyboard geography, changing levels of beat, reading basic rhythm symols, and connecting the movement of pitch up and down with the notes on the keyboard right and left. Tuition includes the curriculum books Piano Safari Animal Adventures and Piano Adventures Lesson Book Level Primer, nine forty-five minute optional drop-off classes: 9/13,9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25, 11/1 and 11/8, and two 30 minute private lessons, scheduled separately with the instructor. This class is part of a three part fall/winter spring sequential series.
Maximum class size of 6
Students are required to have a piano at home, which can be digital (all 88 keys, weighted or "velocity sensitive"). Students are expected to reinforce concepts from class at home through practice, a minimum of 2-3 times per week.
