Sarah Richàrd
Sarah is the director of Alley Bell Music. She teaches Music Together® Mixed Ages and Babies Only classes, and Private Voice. She earned a B.M. in Music Education with a choral emphasis from Western Washington University, and an M.M. in Voice Performance & Pedagogy from Texas Christian University. It was during her time at TCU that she was introduced to Music Together. She received her Music Together Teacher training in 2011 and her Level 1 Teacher Certification in 2017 from the co-author of Music Together, Lili Levinowitz. Sarah has over ten years of experience teaching K-6 General Music for the Edmonds and Shoreline school districts, and has been teaching private voice for over 20 years. Prior to starting Alley Bell Music, Sarah was also on the adjunct voice faculties at Shoreline Community College and Texas Christian University. Sarah performs locally as a professional soprano soloist, and as a vocal adjudicator, and is trained in both classical and musical theater technique. Her private students study a wide range of musical styles, including classical, folk, jazz, pop and musical theater. She is comfortable teaching beginning students through advanced, and also has experience collaborating with local ENT's and speech pathologists to provide voice lessons for professional voice users who have experienced vocal damage. In addition to singing and teaching, Sarah also has a strong background in dance, and enjoys sharing her love of creative movement in her classes and with her private students. She likes to joke that her life is filled with beautiful noise in and out of the classroom, as she is also the mother of two rambunctious boys, Josiah and Jamison. Sarah was raised in Edmonds, and resides in Edmonds with her husband Paul, their two children, and their two cats, Kipper and Lolly. |

Elizabeth Ylaya
Elizabeth is originally from Orlando, Florida and has been living in the Pacific Northwest since 2015. Elizabeth completed the Music Together Teacher Training in October, 2018 and has been teaching at Alley Bell Music since August, 2018. She teaches Music Together Mixed Ages, Music Together con Español, Music Together Babies, Private Voice, and Beginning Group Voice. Elizabeth's formal education includes a B.M. in Vocal Performance from Stetson University and M.M. in Voice Performance from the University of Michigan School of Music Theatre and Dance. In addition to teaching classes and lessons at Alley Bell Music, Elizabeth is a professional opera singer. In the Fall of 2019, Elizabeth made her Seattle Opera debut, performing the role of Toledo in the new American opera: The Falling and the Rising. She has also been a featured soloist with Symphony Tacoma & Tacoma Concert Band, and regularly performs for Premier Vocal Entertainment. Elizabeth has always loved music and children, so when her friend introduced her to Music Together, she knew she needed to be a part of the magic. She is also passionate about working with our beginning vocalists to help them achieve their musical goals while teaching important foundational elements of singing in fun and engaging ways. Elizabeth is fluent in Spanish and has a black belt in Karate. She lives in Edmonds with her husband Elman, who happens to also have been her high school sweetheart! |

Mary Rose Walker-Lieberman
Mary Rose Walker-Lieberman is originally from Katy, Texas. She moved to the Seattle area in the Spring of 2021. She teaches Private Piano and Voice lessons and Music Together Mixed Ages at Alley Bell Music. Mary began teaching piano lessons when she was a teenager under her mother’s guidance. Her formal education includes a B.A. in Music Education from Luther College, and M.M. In Voice Performance from Louisiana State University, as well as ongoing studies in Education Through Music with the Mary Helen Richards Institute, and Voice Pedagogy through Shenandoah University. She completed her Music Together Teacher Training and apprenticeship Fall 2021. She also is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music in Piano through Music Teachers National Association, which means that her high school aged piano students have the option of applying for the High School Credit Program. Mary is an active member of Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). She was also the 2022-2023 chair of the Edmonds Music Teachers Association Musical Artistry Program for Voice.
When she’s not teaching, Mary loves performing in opera and musical theatre, and exploring the great outdoors. Mary lives in Lake Forest Park, with her husband, Kolin.

Pamela Gwizdak
Pamela grew up in Klamath Falls, Oregon and now considers Edmonds to be her forever home. She teaches Music Together Mixed Ages at Alley Bell Music. She completed the Music Together Teacher Training in March, 2023. A lifelong musician, she has been studying as a vocalist at Alley Bell Music for over ten years. Her formal education includes a B.A. and M.A. in Education from Seattle Pacific University. She is a certificated teacher for the State of Washington with an emphasis in English and Social Studies. Pamela fell in love with the Music Together program while attending classes with her infant daughter, Vera. When she is not teaching, you will often STILL find her at Alley Bell Music, attending a class with her daughter, or taking a private voice lesson! Pamela lives in Edmonds with her husband Sean, their daughter, and their three adorable and extremely photogenic British shorthair cats. She can't wait to meet you! |

Abigail Johnson
Originally from Michigan, Abigail has called the Pacific Northwest "home" for several years. She teaches Music Together Mixed Ages, Music Together Babies, and Rhythm Kids® for ages 4-7 at Alley Bell Music. She completed the Music Together Teacher Training in May of 2023. Her formal education includes a B.M. in Music Education from Hope College, and an M.M. in Music Education from Boston University. Her studies specifically focused on vocal and choral music, as well as how music can be more accessible to people of all cultures and backgrounds. Teaching little ones the joy of making music, and creating an inclusive environment for musical exploration are at the center of her teaching!
She has nine years of K-12 general music teaching experience, and spent eight of those years working as a general music teacher and choral director for the Lake Washington School District. In addition to her work at Alley Bell Music, Abigail was the former director of Bellevue Youth Choir's Intermezzo ensemble for 3rd-5th graders, and has a background in church music ministry. She has also served as a choral adjudicator for local Solo and Ensemble festivals throughout the Northwest region. She lives in North Seattle with her two cats, Felix and Frankie. |

Sarah Giordano
Sarah grew up in Snohomish, WA. She teaches Private Piano at Alley Bell Music. Her formal education includes a B.A. in Music with a minor in Psychology from Western Washington University. She received her formal piano training from Maria Sier and Jeffrey Gilliam.
Sarah has always loved teaching music and working with children. She has been teaching for over ten years, and performing professionally for over 20 years. Being an accomplished singer as well, Sarah often performs in the role of professional accompanist for local school district music programs and other vocal and instrumental soloists. Sarah has experience working with all ages of students, from four to ninety-four, and believes anyone can learn piano.
Sarah resides in Edmonds with her husband Joseph and their Springer Spaniel, Ruby. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, doing yoga, and traveling the world!

Jaemee Kim
Jaemee Kim is originally from Seoul, Korea and has been living in Mukilteo, WA since 2003. She holds a B.Mus in Piano Performance from Western Washington University, where she studied under Milica Jelaca Jovanovic and Jeffrey Gilliam. Jaemee is also pursuing a Master’s in Elementary Education from Western Governors University. With over 15 years of teaching experience, she has taught a wide range of piano levels and has coached and supported music teachers in school districts. Jaemee is passionate about guiding students from the beginning level, nurturing their creativity, and helping them find joy in learning music. She always strives to offer numerous opportunities for students of all ages to experience piano lessons, including extensive experience with duets and group classes that allow students to collaborate and grow together. Jaemee also currently serves as an active member of the Snohomish County Music Teachers National Association.
Jaemee currently resides in Lynnwood with her husband Tae-Un and their Yorkie, Remy. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and discovering new coffee spots.

Mark Lewis aka. Modish Mark
Mark Lewis is our DJ in residence! As a long time Music Together Dad and parent of four children, Mark can be trusted to create a high energy, FUN kid-friendly dance party. Parties can be in-person at a venue of your choice, or on Zoom. You choose if you want "the cool dude" in normal clothes, or for Mark to dress up in his infamous inflatable unicorn costume to host your event!
